BRIEF
Photographers and content studios were stitching together four different tools — a RAW editor, a portrait retoucher, a film-LUT pack, and an AI upscaler — to land a single finished frame.
FORMAT collapses that stack into one industrial-grade platform organized around a single primitive — the specification. A specification is a finished, repeatable recipe for a frame: camera emulation, LUT, portrait intelligence, lens optics, and print engine all bound together. Save it, name it, ship it across a thousand images.

PROCESS
01 · DIAGNOSE
Sat with working photographers and content studios, mapped every step of their finishing flow, and counted the tool-switches per delivered frame. The pattern was always the same — four apps, far too many hand-offs, and a brittle export at the end.
02 · DESIGN
Modeled the specification primitive — a serializable recipe combining camera emulation, LUT, portrait intelligence, lens optics, particles, and print engine. Built the UI as a broadcast-equipment console: dense, labeled, monospaced, every stage visible at once. Anchored the brand in Archivo Black, Inter, and a single Golden Amber accent reserved for the action that ships pixels.
03 · DEPLOY
Shipped twenty-one specifications, five built-for-workflow presets (Editorial Clean, Luxury Beauty Reel, Men's Groomed Camera, Gym Selfie Sculpt, Vintage Film Engine), a six-template social toolkit, a three-tier pricing system, and a marketing site that explains the whole platform above the fold.
VISUAL SYSTEM
FORMAT borrows its visual grammar from broadcast video equipment, not from consumer photo apps. Near-black panels, monospaced labels, an amber render accent that only appears on the action that ships pixels. Archivo Black carries the wordmark and section heads; Inter carries the working voice across UI and packaging.

SOCIAL TOOLKIT
A six-template content system — brand statement, feature spotlight, product UI promo, carousel cover, workflow benefit, and creator testimonial — engineered so the team can ship on-voice posts without burning a creative director on every frame.

E-COMMERCE
The marketing site translates the platform into a buy-flow — a "Precision Specs for Beautiful Output" hero, a five-pillar feature grid, a four-step "How FORMAT Works" walkthrough, the preset browser, the testimonial wall, and a three-tier pricing system (Starter, Pro, Studio). Every above-the-fold pixel earns its place against the same question: would a stranger understand what this is in five seconds?
