BRIEF
Most SaaS forecasting tools ask founders for forty-six inputs and hand back a spreadsheet nobody on the cap table can read.
Aura Revenue collapses the model down to four inputs — Starting MRR, Monthly growth rate, Monthly churn rate, Forecast period — and surfaces the five KPIs an investor actually asks for: Month-60 MRR, ARR run rate, total forecast revenue, churn impact, and net monthly growth rate. Three scenario presets (Conservative, Base, Aggressive) let founders pressure-test the plan before the meeting. CSV export ships the whole thing to the data room.
PROCESS
01 · DIAGNOSE
Worked through a stack of real founder spreadsheets and counted the inputs that actually moved the forecast. Three or four did the work. The rest were ceremony — fields that flattered the founder but never reached the investor deck.
02 · DESIGN
Designed the model around the four inputs that matter (MRR, growth, churn, period), surfaced the five KPIs an investor actually asks for, and put the math behind a "Read the methodology" link so the curious can verify without the casual being scared off. Anchored the brand in Space Grotesk + Inter, built the system around an Aura Primary #00D9C7 mint accent, and used near-black panels for the terminal so growth charts read clearly under projector light.
03 · DEPLOY
Shipped the Aura Forecast Terminal with three scenario presets, live-input recalculation, churn-impact-vs-zero-churn delta narrative, a 60-month horizon by default, CSV download, and a one-click "Copy summary" for board updates. Forecast Health pill (Healthy / Watch / Risk) sits at the top of every result so the founder always knows the answer at a glance.
VISUAL SYSTEM
Aura's visual system borrows from financial terminals — high-contrast charcoal panels, a single mint accent reserved for revenue and "go" actions, deep-blue depth for chart fills, and a quiet slate for supporting structure. Space Grotesk carries the headlines and KPI numbers; Inter carries the working voice across the terminal and supporting copy.
